I’m gonna say it: Germany should have nuclear weapons.

I know, it’s everybody’s nightmare because the Nazis used to dominate here. They don’t anymore. And to make sure they never will, my proposal is that all anti-democratic parties currently vying for recognition should immediately be eliminated from the ballot. An inoculation of Militant Democracy is urgently needed in Germany and Europe to prevent the fascist disease from returning.

That would be the most important precondition to Germany acquiring nuclear weapons. Another important condition, though perhaps not a precondition, would be to propose the expulsion of Hungary from the EU. Isolate it economically and end the Schengen agreement until Orbán is gone and democracy is restored to the country—a concerted effort to implement defensive democracy throughout the EU. This could also apply to other EU states on the brink of fascist rule.

As the the oligarchs who have taken over the government in the USA have made clear, their new National Security Strategy (NSS)* is a clear declaration of intent to divide the world into three zones on the lines of Orwell’s 1984. Europe—at least the eastern half—will be gifted to friend oligarch Putin and thus no longer be an economic rival to the USA, with the Euro in the eastern part being replaced by the Ruble, in the western remnant, the dollar will replace the Euro.

*NS = National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus) + SS = Schutzstaffel

“Who are the nuclear threshold states? Nuclear threshold states are defined as those states with significant material and scientific capability, but which have made the political decision to refrain from acquiring nuclear weapons. This definition includes countries that previously had a military nuclear capability but gave it up. Using this definition, today’s nuclear threshold states include Brazil, Japan, Egypt, South Africa, Canada, Germany, Taiwan, South Korea, and Argentina.”

I don’t think I am a maniac [one of my ex-wives might disagree] when I propose we go back to the old MAD* policy that kept the world away from destruction for most of my life.

*Mutually Assured Destruction

Let’s say that the three countries I regard as democratically responsible, Germany, Japan and Canada decide to produce nuclear weapons for their self-defense. The USA and its nuclear arsenal can no longer be counted upon to help those countries in a moment of need. That’s quite clear now. Each of those countries could actually have a nascent nuclear arsenal within six months. That’s how close they all are to being able to build a bomb.

Are your eyebrows raised in horror at the thought?

Well, remember the precondition? No anti-democratic parties in the countries building bombs.

The Americans have been trying to turn Europe into a den of fascist thieves that reflect their current and the Russian oligarch political structure. Of course they will all react with boisterous threats, but in the new “reality” of that world they would quickly realize that European democracy defended by the nuclear forces of England, France and Germany is not to be regarded as a weak opponent.

In fact, if Germany does go nuclear, it would be a wake-up call to the rest of the world as well. Nuclear states do not get attacked. There are plenty of examples extant: Israel, North Korea, Pakistan, India… and soon, obviously, Iran.

My modest proposal will probably not find many brains it can enter through ears and eyes. I’m used to that. The Cassandra Files are proof of that. Anyway, I had to say it because I don’t hear anyone else saying it.

With a touch of Militant Democracy used to banish anti-democratic parties from participating in the democracy they want to undermine and destroy as a strong prerequisite to the acquisition of nuclear weapons, I think it could work beneficially and allow us to live in the beautiful Europe we love—no matter what shades of skin we might have.

Start now and by next summer all the potential wars will be over before they even get a chance to begin.

Happy holidays.
