Excuse me, you thought they wouldn’t come for you? You decided the past was meaningless? History was boring in school? The influencers you follow never mentioned Martin Niemöller? Well, Martin Niemöller switched from being pro-Nazi to being anti-Nazi after he realized what was actually gong on. He spent some unhappy time in a concentration camp. He eventually wrote this:
When the Nazis came for the communists,
I kept quiet; I wasn’t a communist.
When they came for the trade unionists, I kept quiet;
I wasn’t a trade unionist.
When they locked up the social democrats, I kept quiet;
I wasn’t a social democrat.
When they locked up the Jews, I kept quiet;
I wasn’t a Jew.
When they came for me, there was no one left to protest.
Now, if you were to be just a little creative and could smell the stink in the air of what used to be the democracy of the United States, you might want to rewrite that slightly to reflect the current times:
When MAGA came for the Latinos,
I kept quiet; I wasn’t a Latino.
When MAGA came for the blacks, I kept quiet;
I wasn’t black.
When MAGA locked up the democrats, I kept quiet;
I wasn’t a democrat.
When MAGA locked up gays, I kept quiet;
I wasn’t gay.
When MAGA came for me, there was no one left to protest.
Do you seriously think there won’t be a violent repression akin to what happened in Spain under Franco, in Russia under Stalin and in Germany under the Nazis? MAGAists are just waiting for an excuse. They are rounding up the small fish now because it’s easy and looks good in the headlines and scares people.
Surely you have noticed that they do not go anywhere near the gang-controlled territories and try to pick up the real MS13 and other gang members. They know that not one single ICE or ICE-contract agent would survive a raid in gang territory. Those gangs are better armed than any of those ICE guys. And they are more ruthless too. They would not be afraid to use their armor-piercing bullets on those vested agents.
No, there will be no raids in the real ghettos against their fellow criminals. When the chaos comes and a state of more-or-less repressive anarchy dominates, then the gangs will take advantage of the situation and impose their own brand of violent control over the population. That will be very useful for the MAGA machine because criminal to criminal deals will be made that are profitable for all parties.
Who are you? Where are you?
DOGE knows. What do you think the DOGE scheme was all about? Nobody cares about saving money. Governments don’t cut costly programs, they cut the programs that benefit ordinary people, the social programs. It’s the USA, dummy, everything has to to be privately owned by the super-rich, and you have to pay for whatever service you might want or need. And if you can’t pay, either you can die a miserable death or become an indentured servant to the Artificial Intelligence that is going to do your job while you (yes you, white college boy and college girl) learn how to be a gardener or a waiter or a fieldworker.
Me, a fieldworker? Sure. All the cheap labor was deported, remember? Now it’s your turn to sweat and pick that cotton college kid. Anyway, you are the last college generation that actually got some real knowledge dumped into your brain between the beer pong and football games. After you there will either be no college or just a bunch of MAGA indoctrination centers.
Bleak future, huh?

If you can read (or perhaps listen to an audio book), may I suggest you read or listen to The Man in the High Castle, or even watch the made for TV series if you must. And if your studies of literature never took you all that far, may I also suggest We by Yevgeny Zamyatin. There are plenty more good ones, but I don’t want to overburden you.
Let’s assume that you learn visually better than through reading or listening to stories, then perhaps get a hold of one of these films and learn from them how to survive in the new MAGA world.
